The mission of Mediation
Mediation is a way of amicable dispute resolution. It involves a third party whose mission is to help the parties involved to reach an agreement.
Mediation of Tourism and Travel, dedicated to travel packages and flights only, to promote the amicable settlement of disputes that may arise between clients and providers of air transport services, travel and tourism, signatory aims Mediation Charter Tourism and Travel, and represented by their associations.
It responds to guidance from the Secretary of State for Consumer Affairs, during the installation of the National Commission of Mediation consumption, October 20, 2010, to generalize devices sector mediations in July horizon in 2012.
The Commission also decided on 23 April, to reference the service mediation Tourism and Travel, which meets the quality standards of its charter. > See the degree of CMC
Independent and impartial, the Ombudsman of Travel and Tourism, Mr. Jean-Pierre Teyssier, is responsible for reconciling the views to open the way for an amicable solution and avoid recourse to a court.
Mediation is free to consumers.
It obeys the rules of confidentiality.
The Ombudsman is independent.
The deadline for mediation is relatively current.
